We have no doubt that for a lot of Cats, that Hills prescription food works really well.

But, would you think that when your cats skin broke out so badly you couldn't see its face, that his food would be to blame.

We didn't either - but when Steaks FLUTDs first began he was put on a Hills Urinary formula to dissolve the crystals. A week later he could not open his eyes for an allergy called "eosinophilic plaque". The bottom of his mouth also broke out in countless "rodent ulcers".

After a few weeks of allergy testing we discovered that he was allergic to the beef in Hills food - or so we thought,

When Steaks FLUTDs relapse hit a few weeks ago, we were advised to try him with a fish flavoured Hills prescription diet. 3 Days in and his skin was breaking out again.

Don't know whats in this stuff - but wouldn't recommend it.

Try Walthams Royal Canin instead
